Mcneil Instruments’ Needle Valve operates on the same principle as screwed stem globe valves. The distinction lies in its design: instead of a plug point, Mcneil Instruments’ needle valve features a needle point. Activation is achieved by a t-bar, rotated to drive the needle into the seat. The sealing interface occurs as the needle passes through and seals on a conical area machined inside the body. With a maximum working pressure of 10,000psi and a maximum working temperature of up to 230°C or 427°C with the GP option, Mcneil Instruments ensures reliable performance even under demanding conditions.
